Today, 8th February 2023 a brand-new travelling exhibition, which is called "Terra&Sangue. St. John Calabria in the world", will start its tour from San Zeno in Monte and it will be hosted in all the PSDP delegations and missions throughout the year. The Exposition has been made to celebrate the 150th birth anniversary of Saint John Calabria. It consists of seven relics and objects that belonged to fr. Calabria:
  • a pair of shoes
  • his pair of glasses
  • a letter
  • his vestment
  • his wallet
  • his watch
  • a lighthouse-like case which contains Saint John Calabria’s ex sanguinis relic and, at the bottom of the box, some soil from San Zeno in Monte, as Fr. Calabria defined it as a Holy and Blessed Land.

During the inaugural Mass, the Casante fr. Massimiliano Parrella has entrusted a luggage containing said relics  to the Delegate of the European Delegation fr. Valdecir Tressoldi. Over the next weeks, the exhibition will be on tour across Italy, Romania and Portugal. The Exhibition will first stop in Rome. Then, it will be hosted in Kenya next March, in April it will move to Angola and in the other Delegations. In the end, the exhibition will come back to Verona at the end of September, and so it will be part of the initiatives that will take place in the city to celebrate the Calabrian jubilee (8 October 2023).

Since this event concerns the Congregation all over the world, the whole Calabrian Family is invited to gather together, and plan activities to involve PSDP brothers and sisters as well as the Laity, but also the Local Church and our partners in the activities of each territory.
